Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ML projects: Own the complete lifecycle of machine learning initiatives in cloud security from problem formulation and research through model development, deployment, and ongoing production management
- Develop production-grade ML models: Build and deploy scalable, robust ML solutions for cloud threat detection, anomaly identification, and security risk assessment
- Drive innovation in cloud security: Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in machine learning and AI to solve novel security challenges in cloud environments
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with security researchers to understand threat landscapes, work with engineers to ensure seamless production integration, and engage with product managers to align solutions with customer needs
- Mentor and influence: Share knowledge with team members, contribute to technical strategy, and help establish best practices for ML development and deployment
- Stay ahead: Work within an ever-advancing team that adopts new R&D technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or AI, with demonstrated ability to deliver production ML systems
- Strong ML fundamentals: Deep expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, with proven ability to select and apply appropriate techniques to complex problems
- End-to-end ownership experience: Track record of taking ML projects from research through production deployment and ongoing management
- Production ML expertise: Experience building, deploying, and maintaining ML models in production environments, including monitoring, debugging, and optimization
- Programming proficiency: Strong coding skills in Python and ML frameworks; experience with cloud platforms is a plus
- Security domain knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity concepts is highly desirable; experience in cloud security is a significant plus
- Collaborative mindset: Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-solving excellence: Demonstrated ability to tackle ambiguous, complex problems with creative, data-driven solutions
