About the role
- Site Security Monitor Associate ensures that SCIF being built meets client’s standards and Construction Security Plan. Responsible for implementing aspects of the Construction Security Plan at project site.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the security and integrity of the construction site
- Ensure the requirements of the ICD 705 are implemented
- Work with the client and all other stakeholders to identify implementation of the standards to comply with the Construction Security Plan (CSP)
- Conduct periodic security inspections for the duration of the construction project to ensure compliance
- Identify any concerns, deviations and violations to the CSP
- Document security violations or deviations from the CSP and notify the client
- Control access of personnel materials at the Construction Site
- Ensure security integrity of the construction site and the Secure Storage Area (SSA)
- Monitor, observe, and interact with the construction workers
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of ICD 705 construction standards
- Must have an Active Top Secret (TS)/SCI security clearance
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and articulate manner
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
