About the role

  • VP of Product Marketing at Proofpoint leading go-to-market strategies for Data Security and Governance. Driving human-centric security innovations and operational excellence in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the narrative for Human-Centric Data Security
  • Partner lock-step with Product Management to influence the roadmap
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, distributed Product Marketing organization
  • Direct the creation of battlecards and plays that dismantle competitors
  • Serve as the primary external face of the business unit

Requirements

  • 15+ Years of Experience
  • Proven success in B2B cybersecurity marketing
  • At least 8+ years in a leadership role (VP or Sr. Director)
  • Deep, "hands-on" knowledge of the Data Security landscape (DLP, CASB, SSE, DSPM)
  • You understand that "Security" and "Compliance" are two sides of the same coin
  • Experience operating in a high-growth public company or late-stage private equity environment
