About the role

  • Journeyman Acquisition Analyst managing the lifecycle of DoN acquisitions and ensuring compliance with regulations. Developing strategies, monitoring performance, and supporting documentation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of DoN acquisitions by developing acquisition strategies, preparing documentation and ensuring compliance with DoD 5000 series or other relevant regulations.
  • Analyze program health, monitor performance, and support reviews.
  • Work independently, demonstrate initiative and contribute to a multi-discipline, rapid action team.
  • Provide Procurement Planning Conference support along with general acquisition support.
  • Support the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans, Individual Streamlined Acquisition Plan, Program Streamlined Acquisition Plan, Acquisition Strategy Reports, Procurement Initiation Documents, Statement of Work, funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists, and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with three (3) years relevant experience.
  • An additional six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • An associate’s degree plus additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge and experience with Acquisition Management System suite, specifically the Program Management Tool and Common Spend Plan Tool.
