About the role
- Application Engineer for Automic Automation with focus on critical banking process automation. Collaborating with IT to enhance system efficiency and performance in Stuttgart's banking sector.
Responsibilities
- Independent and meticulous administration, monitoring and further development of our Automic Automation platform for critical banking processes
- Design and implementation of simple to complex workflows and reliable automation solutions for bank-specific processes
- Analysis, design and implementation of automation workflows
- Proactively ensure system stability (monitoring), performance and availability
- Improve system integration (e.g., job monitoring and alerting)
- Change management: planning, implementation and documentation of system changes
- Independent fault analysis, troubleshooting and incident management
- Creation of technical concepts, system documentation and operations manuals, including document reviews
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience
- Certifications such as ITIL v4, ISTQB, Microsoft, Oracle are desirable
- Several years of experience administering automation platforms and/or workflow development (ideally in the banking sector and with Automic Automation (UC4)), and confident handling of Linux servers and interface technologies
- Solid experience in project work and regulatory requirements (BAIT, MaRisk, GDPR)
- Good knowledge of databases (SQL, especially Oracle), scripting (shell scripting, PowerShell, optionally Python)
- Independent, conscientious and reliable working style
- Solution-oriented, strategic mindset
- Excellent German and good English skills
