About the role

  • Application Support Engineer handling integration solutions for cloud and on-premises applications. Collaborating with teams and ensuring minimal business disruption in a leading financial services provider.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain integration solutions between cloud and on-premises applications (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, SAP)
  • Administer and supervise Boomi Atoms, connectors, and process schedules
  • Analyse Boomi process logs and error messages to identify and resolve integration issues
  • Respond to incidents, prioritize based on impact, and bring up when necessary
  • Collaborate with application owners, developers, and business users to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical customers
  • Experience in performing change management activities, including testing and deploying new or updated integrations
  • Ensure all changes align with governance and compliance protocols
  • Record and share incident details, solutions, and operational procedures to support team knowledge
  • Find and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Proactively monitor integration processes for performance and failures
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of tried hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere
  • Deep understanding of event-driven architecture and integration patterns (ETL, real-time, batch)
  • Proficiency in AWS services, especially API Gateway and hosting solutions
  • Solid command of Boomi connectors such as HTTP, SOAP, REST, JDBC, SFTP, and others
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, SQL, JavaScript, and Groovy scripting
  • Good understanding of API development and web services architecture
  • Experience with error handling, exception management, and logging in Boomi
  • Experience in monitoring Boomi integrations using dashboards, alerts, and performance tuning techniques
  • Experience in handling incidents, service requests and change requests
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
