About the role

  • Schedule appointments, answer and screen phone calls, and provide information as needed for the Director of Candidacy and the Director of Partnership Administration.
  • Respond to general requests for information and materials and ensure proper handling of all general correspondence.
  • Assist in coordinating and organizing all aspects of conferences.
  • Work in close collaboration with Calvin Theological Seminary.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Organize and maintain all correspondence, files, and records.
  • Record and distribute minutes from assigned meetings convened by the Director of Candidacy and the Director of Partnership Administration.
  • Prepare and process invoices, check requests, and expense reports.
  • Complete routine copying, printing, and gathering of information.
  • Work with appropriate departments to ensure information is correct and up to date on applicable websites.
  • Input pertinent information into the applicable database system, as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Able to support the mission, vision, and values of the CRCNA.
  • Familiarity with the CRCNA governance, agencies, and/or Calvin Theological Seminary is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn systems specific to the organization.
  • Proven ability to organize tasks and responsibilities, including multitasking, setting priorities, and deadlines etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and external contacts.
  • Some college coursework in a related field is required.
  • Basic experience in event planning is preferred.
  • Intermediate administrative office experience is preferred.
