Responsibilities
As the application project manager for the Hotels scope across Europe and reporting to the BPO Finance & Hotels, you ensure the operational continuity and ongoing evolution of the group’s solutions and lead the implementation of new projects in accordance with our standards.
You co-develop and manage the digital roadmap with the Business Management.
You provide AMOA (business/project owner) support for projects at the European level: you are the key point of contact for the Hospitality Directorate and facilitate the link with the SAP maintenance team (external and internal) and with external vendors of the other applications in your portfolio.
You carry out and/or supervise/coordinate at the European level the technical delivery (MOE) of the Hotels Directorate’s projects for the core model tools under your responsibility.
You lead the cross-functional European IT and business team working on the project and manage the project end-to-end: coordinate stakeholders for drafting specifications, write functional and technical specifications, organize test phases, manage and produce documentation, provide user support, and drive change management.
You are responsible for monitoring and producing reporting dedicated to your line of activity (with or without internal or external contributors) via Power BI.
You are accountable for the quality of maintenance and support, which may be outsourced in whole or in part to a third party or handled by our internal teams in Europe.
You prepare and manage the budget for your activities.
You also provide support on the Finance scope depending on the projects.
Requirements
Master's degree (Bac+4/5) or equivalent.
You have 10–15 years’ experience as an IT Project Manager (AMOA or MOE) at an end client, within an IT services company (ESN), or in Business Process Analyst roles.
Experience in the hospitality sector is highly valued.
You have experience managing projects (AMOA / MOE) on behalf of internal or external clients within a user organization or an IT services company.
You are recognized for the following qualities:
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to a variety of stakeholders. You enjoy frequent interactions with the Business and your IT colleagues.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale application deployment projects.
• Proficiency with a reporting tool such as Power BI and an ERP such as SAP or SAGE.
• Knowledge of tools used in the hotel industry would be a plus.
• A strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Recognized organizational and coordination skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent English.
