About the role

  • Key Account Representative for Covestro developing strategic accounts and contributing to mobility market. Manage relationships and deliver tailored solutions in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

  • Develop account plans aligned with our objectives and manage the opportunity pipeline via CRM
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for decision-makers (procurement, program management, technical) and negotiate with impact
  • Coordinate interactions with our experts to propose tailored solutions
  • Contribute to our competitive intelligence and sector strategy

Requirements

  • University degree or engineering degree in materials science, polymer chemistry, or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in technical sales/account management within technical plastics or the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of thermoplastics (PC, PC blends, PBT, PA) is a plus
  • Ability to translate customers' technical needs into commercial proposals
  • Proficiency with a CRM
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in French and English; other relevant languages appreciated
  • Willingness to travel within Europe, Northwest Africa, and internationally
