About the role

  • Compliance Analyst ensuring adherence to legal and company standards at Copa Energia, monitoring training programs and supporting data protection compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Training Modules and Forms on the Compliance Management Platform to verify employees’ completion of required and in-progress trainings, signing of commitment statements or policy acknowledgements, and completion of Compliance forms; prepare and send status updates to VPs, Directors, GEROPs and integrity officers.
  • Monitor and manage the Privacy Channel to respond to data subject requests, track areas’ LGPD compliance actions (including new processes), provide guidance, follow up on action deadlines, review policies and procedures, and keep the ROPA (Record of Processing Activities) up to date.
  • Develop Compliance and LGPD communication materials, create an annual communication calendar, and publish content with artwork every two weeks to promote an integrity culture.
  • Review and analyze contractual clauses related to LGPD, Anti‑Corruption and social clauses, advising on the most appropriate wording according to the scope of the engagement.
  • Perform Integrity Due Diligence to conduct reputational pre‑screening of third parties for supplier and service provider onboarding, conduct reputational research and analyze obtained data, and respond to client Due Diligence questionnaires.
  • Conduct Integrity Background Checks to perform reputational pre‑screening of candidates for new hires.
  • Provide Compliance and LGPD guidance to clarify questions, including directions on how to carry out procedures related to the Code of Ethical Conduct, Compliance and LGPD policies, and regulations.
  • Conduct investigations of reports and complaints, including audits, document and system analysis, interviews and preparation of investigation reports.
  • Prepare reports with Compliance and LGPD key performance indicators for weekly monitoring by the Coordination team and monthly management reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed: Business Administration, Law, Psychology or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Postgraduate degree in Compliance, LGPD or related areas.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
  • Compliance training course; EXIN LGPD certification.
