- Financial management & analysis: Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, and for deriving clear action recommendations for management.
- Business partnering: Close collaboration with central departments as an equal sparring partner.
- Strategic projects: Preparation and evaluation of business cases for investments, supply-chain initiatives and M&A transactions.
- Reporting & decision support: Development of meaningful management reports and presentation of findings to executive management and relevant stakeholders.
- Process and system optimization: Identification and implementation of automation and efficiency improvements in the controlling environment.
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration or a comparable field with a focus on Controlling/Finance.
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in a retail or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, profitability analyses and investment appraisal.
- Proficient in SAP FI/CO and MS Excel; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
- Experience in M&A (e.g., due diligence, company valuation) is desirable.
