About the role
- Senior Data Analyst in a hybrid role at GFT, focusing on strategic insights and data-driven decisions. Collaborate with IT, product, and marketing teams using tools like Power BI and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to generate strategic business insights;
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar;
- Design and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in both structured and unstructured environments;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (IT, product, marketing, finance) to understand analytical needs;
- Conduct statistical and predictive analyses to support data-driven decision making.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SQL for manipulating and querying large volumes of data;
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.);
- Practical experience with languages such as Python or R for data analysis;
- Knowledge of data modeling (relational and dimensional);
- Ability to interpret data and communicate results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences;
- Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP);
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (e.g., Git);
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts or advanced statistics;
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.);
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and with tools such as Jira or Confluence.
