Responsibilities
Lead and expand VANTAGE’s engagement with financial-services clients across Hong Kong, China and the wider APAC region, with a focus on capital-markets work.
Strengthen and grow executive-level relationships with Compliance, ECM/Capital Markets, and FS leadership at key banks and advisors.
Develop and execute a regional market-expansion plan for Singapore, Australia, Japan and other emerging financial hubs.
Guide strategic direction and key-account ownership while supporting senior delivery leaders in client engagement and advocacy.
Coordinate with regional VANTAGE, Markets & Partnerships, and other practice teams to support broader commercial activities and win new work.
Act as a high-profile advocate for VANTAGE internally and externally to elevate brand presence and drive new opportunities.
Collaborate with Control Risks colleagues focused on FS, including Business Intelligence, to maximize cross-practice value.
Support commercial teams in proposal development, contract negotiation and ensuring profitable engagements.
Partner with global and regional delivery leaders to enhance quality, operational excellence and best practices across APAC diligence teams.
Contribute market insights and client feedback to global product development, ensuring continuous innovation of VANTAGE services.
Requirements
12+ years’ experience in due diligence, third-party compliance or investigations in Asia, with strong capital-markets exposure.
Deep understanding of the APAC financial-services landscape and existing regional relationships (including WeChat or similar networks).
Proven ability to win work from financial-services clients and identify broader commercial opportunities.
Strong grasp of regional research and operational challenges, including China-specific requirements.
Demonstrated account-management experience.
Experience drafting proposals and managing case administration.
Comfortable pitching to C-suite stakeholders, especially in financial crime and compliance functions.
Extensive client-facing experience with strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
English fluency required; Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency preferred.
