About the role

  • Gameplay Programmer developing gameplay features and systems at Compulsion Games. Contributing to a close-knit creative team focused on unique storytelling in games.

Responsibilities

  • Develop gameplay systems and ingredients
  • Active member of multidisciplinary feature teams
  • Communicate and work with various disciplines
  • Develop gameplay features and systems such as player interaction, character behaviours, game elements, AI or game progression
  • Work on proof of concepts for technical improvements, debugging, and polishing the developed features

Requirements

  • Experience working in Games
  • Experience with Unreal Engine is preferable
  • Mastery of at least one game engine
  • Skilled and confident programmer using C++
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of artists, designers, and animators
  • High levels of autonomy and proactivity
  • A desire to learn and share expertise with others
  • Tangible experience in the games industry, preferably working with PC and/or Console Games
