Responsibilities
As a Consultant in IT Contract & Provider Management, you advise clients ranging from mid-sized companies to large corporations on IT provider management, contract management, and software asset management.
You support our clients in complying with relevant internal and external compliance requirements and in increasing efficiency across their provider landscape, contract portfolio, or individual suppliers.
After the initial optimization, you continuously develop the client's organization, processes, and systems.
You contribute your methodological expertise in project, process, and risk management.
Internally, you regularly share insights in our knowledge-management formats about market developments and pass your knowledge on to junior colleagues.
Requirements
Completed commercial or technical vocational training (e.g., IT systems sales specialist) and/or a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in (business) informatics, information systems, economics, business administration, social sciences or natural sciences
At least 1–3 years of practical experience in consulting or in a line role within IT Vendor Management / IT Provider Management / IT Contract Management
Knowledge and experience in process organization (contract management, provider management and procurement)
Knowledge of operational and strategic selection, governance and evaluation of IT service providers
Experience with contract-management tools and an interest in AI is desirable
Strong analytical mindset and a good understanding of business contexts and numbers
Goal-oriented, independent working style with a team-player mentality
Fluent German and English (business/negotiation level)
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
