About the role
- SIS Administrator providing technical support for Jenzabar systems. Collaborating with various departments and managing data integration processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Student Information Systems including Jenzabar CX/EX/J1 On-prem, Hosted, and JaaS Applications.
- Act as a technical resource for SIS and related projects.
- Take primary ownership of support for Jenzabar.
- Work as a team member to set up and maintain end user support for the SIS.
- Communicate with vendors to aid in resolving general operational problems and technical issues.
- Perform routine management tasks, including transferring, loading, archiving, and converting data for purposes of managing, maintaining, and securing student information.
- Develop and/or Maintain 3rd party software integrations using API’s, flat files, etc. as required to maintain data synchronization with the SIS.
- Prepare written materials (e.g., reports, documents, etc.) for the purpose of documenting processes and providing instructions to others.
- Organize and prepare system software documentation, procedural documentation, and operational instructions to promote efficient utilization.
Requirements
- 3+ years of related experience
- Knowledge of Higher Education practices, procedures, and standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Jenzabar CX/EX/J1 Student Information systems.
- Strong comprehension of MS SQL Server, SQL language, Stored Procedures, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of Company and Partner Institutional data, especially regarding student data and information.
