Responsibilities
Partnering with Operations leaders to deliver financial and operational targets.
Identifying opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and return on investment.
Influencing business decision-making through fact-based, insightful, and commercially focused analysis.
Ensuring robust plans are in place to deliver the strategic cost-out plan.
Identifying and driving process and system improvements to enhance forecasting, reporting, and decision support.
Leading insight and ROI analysis for transformational initiatives and business cases.
Producing clear, timely, and insightful performance reporting, including variance analysis, trend commentary, and forward-looking risk and opportunity assessments.
Providing executive-ready reporting and narrative to support senior leadership forums and performance discussions.
Ensuring consistency, accuracy, and transparency of performance metrics across financial and operational reporting.
Owning financial governance and performance reporting, including: Leading the monthly forecast process with clear articulation of risks and opportunities, Setting effective budgets and forecasts, Conducting disciplined monthly reviews of results against plan.
Requirements
CA or CPA qualification, with experience in retail, FMCG, or a listed corporate environment.
Proven experience partnering with and influencing senior non-financial stakeholders.
Strong capability in analysing financial information to identify insights, risks, and opportunities, and convert them into clear recommendations.
Well-developed influencing skills, enabling constructive challenge and win-win outcomes.
The ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations effectively.
