About the role
- Financial Coordinator optimizing cash flow and managing financial operations at Kärcher. Leading Accounts Payable/Receivable team and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and forecast daily cash flow, optimizing processes to ensure the accuracy of financial information and accounting records
- Lead and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team, providing training and performance monitoring
- Manage the complexity of rebates with major retailers, handling the recalculation of contract funds and ensuring financial health
- Oversee AP/AR processes to ensure deadlines are met and avoid late-payment charges, and intervene with areas such as Logistics and Sales to ensure credit flow
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, negotiating fees, charges, foreign exchange, and investments
- Assess and mitigate financial risks, monitoring the company's exposure to interest rate and foreign exchange fluctuations
- Implement approval limits and strict processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors or fraud risk
- Prepare management reports and financial projections, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
Requirements
- Proven solid experience in financial operations, accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management and risk analysis
- Previous experience leading teams and establishing financial departments
- Intermediate/advanced Spanish (mandatory) for interaction with other countries
- English is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
- Knowledge of SAP (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace
- Analytical and proactive profile, confident in negotiations, conflict management and with strategic vision
- Knowledge of tax and accounting legislation applied to treasury
