About the role

• Senior Power Platform Consultants delivering large scale business applications projects for Codec. Join teams in Dublin or Belfast focusing on client solutions and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and build of solutions on Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps (Primarily Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse – adhering to and defining Codec delivery standards and accelerators.
• Run workshops, translate business processes into functional/technical designs, produce user stories and acceptance criteria, and guide clients through options and trade-offs.
• Mentor consultants and developers, perform peer reviews, and uphold best practices in solution architecture, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Connect solutions to Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management), and external systems using standard connectors and custom connectors/APIs.
• Shape environment strategy, DLP policies, security roles, and compliance. Implement solution packaging, source control and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Power Platform Build Tools/ADO or GitHub Actions) for managed releases.
• Configure and extend Power Pages using OOTB features first, with targeted Liquid/JavaScript where needed; align web roles to model-driven app security and document portal deployment steps.
• Collaborate with data teams to surface operational insights via Power BI or in-app dashboards.
• Contribute to estimates, plans, and risks; coordinate with PMs, Solution Architects, and client stakeholders to land on-time, on-budget outcomes with high customer satisfaction.
• Create runbooks and admin guides; deliver training and knowledge transfer to super-users and support teams.
• Track Microsoft roadmap/Copilot features and advise clients on pragmatic adoption paths; contribute to Codec accelerators and internal knowledge.

Requirements

• 8+ years taking a lead delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions in consulting or enterprise environments, with production launches of Model Driven Apps and/or customised Dynamics 365 deployments.
• Strong schema design, relationships, business rules, forms/views, and command bar/modern control customisation; familiarity with reuse of standard tables and Dynamics 365 tables where licensing and fit allow.
• Solid grasp of flow design, error handling, retries, concurrency, and long-running process patterns.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 CE, Azure integration patterns (HTTP, queues, webhooks), and API design/consumption.
• Clear communication, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and crisp documentation (designs, runbooks, smoke tests).
