WMS Operations Analyst at CEVA Logistics implementing and optimizing Manhattan Active WMS. Collaborating on warehouse management solutions and enhancing operational efficiency across operations.
Responsibilities
Deliver the full cycle WMS implementation, including data collection, documentation, system testing, training staff, and supporting operations during the go-live phase.
Implement new functionalities across existing WMS sites, focusing on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Act as a functional/process-based subject matter expert in the deployment and management of the WMS, ensuring best practices in system utilisation and management.
Serve as the first point of contact for site-level WMS queries in your region, offering timely troubleshooting, ongoing training, and support to enhance system performance and user competence.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying system enhancement opportunities and collaborating on their implementation to improve warehousing and transportation processes.
Mentor and support team members, facilitating their growth and readiness for upward mobility in the WMS hierarchy.
Utilise a deep understanding of warehousing and transport processes, material handling equipment, and productivity drivers to execute necessary system enhancements or operational improvements.
Implement and advocate for system changes that align with strategic business goals and drive significant operational efficiencies.
Requirements
Proven experience in warehouse management systems, preferably as a WMS user, operations supervisor, or inventory controller in a distribution centre environment.
Hands-on experience with in-house and/or external warehouse management systems, including implementation phases such as testing, documentation, and go-live support.
Understanding of warehousing and transportation processes, material handling equipment (MHE), and key cost / productivity drivers.
Ability to identify, analyse, and solve system-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
Willingness to engage in continuous learning and development to keep up with WMS advancements and industry best practices.
Ability to implement and drive change, enhancing operational efficiency and system capabilities.
