About the role
- Contract Logistics Operations Supervisor managing day-to-day warehouse operations at CEVA Logistics. Overseeing teams, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and feedback.
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods and materials.
- Ensure that all warehouse activities are performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures, including inventory management, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that stock is replenished as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments, including logistics, sales, and customer service, to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Manage the physical layout of the warehouse, including organizing and maintaining storage areas and optimizing space utilization.
- Use warehouse management systems and other software tools to track inventory levels, monitor warehouse performance, and generate reports.
- Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse and equipment to identify and address any safety or maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and ensure that all documentation is properly filed and archived.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory management, and logistics operations
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
