About the role

  • Transport Operations Manager leading safe, compliant fleet operations for CEVA Logistics. Managing performance and operational teams in high-volume transport environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with CoR, transport legislation and CEVA safety standards
  • Own shift KPIs across safety, DIFOT, POD/COD performance, productivity and labour utilisation
  • Lead planning, scheduling and allocation of fleet and operational resources
  • Analyse operational data and implement optimisation strategies
  • Manage subcontractor carrier performance in partnership with Transport Procurement
  • Act as a key operational contact for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to budget and P&L outcomes through disciplined labour planning, cost control and performance management
  • Drive structured shift handovers and maintain strong 5S and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Solid experience leading high-volume transport operations
  • Significant exposure to CoR governance and transport compliance management
  • A proven track record improving safety and service performance
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with experience influencing budget and P&L outcomes
  • Strong capability driving productivity, labour utilisation and cost control
  • Experience leading mixed workforces including employees, labour hire and subcontractors
  • Confidence working with TMS platforms and operational reporting tools
  • Clear leadership under pressure with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
