About the role

  • Senior Technology Recruiter for a scaling consultancy supporting AWS and AI teams. Driving recruitment across AWS engineering and related technical positions while innovating and improving processes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver full-cycle recruitment for AWS engineering, architecture, AI, and commercial roles
  • Create effective sourcing strategies and build pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill positions
  • Manage both permanent and contract hiring
  • Handle screening, interviews, and offer processes while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
  • Work with our Chief AI Officer to identify opportunities for AI-driven process automation
  • Implement recruitment technology that improves speed, quality, and efficiency
  • Test new tools and approaches to elevate the function
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and leadership
  • Provide market insights, talent mapping, and data-driven hiring recommendations
  • Coach managers on best practices, structured interviewing, and DE&I considerations
  • Champion Cloudscaler’s culture, values, and career opportunities
  • Identify ways to strengthen our employer value proposition and recruitment marketing
  • Represent Cloudscaler at industry events and meetups
  • Maintain accurate ATS data and track key recruitment metrics
  • Identify opportunities to refine processes and stay ahead of tech recruitment trends

Requirements

  • Strong sourcing skills and ability to identify talent with limited profile data
  • Experience hiring for AWS or similar technical roles
  • End-to-end recruitment experience across permanent and contract hiring
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical role requirements
  • Skilled at managing multiple requisitions in a high-growth environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • High attention to detail and excellent written communication
  • Experience recruiting for cloud consultancies or tech services organisations (Desirable)
  • Experience with AI, ML, or data science recruitment (Desirable)
  • Familiarity with recruitment automation tools (Desirable)
  • Background in scaling businesses (50–200+ employees) (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of IR35 and UK tech contract recruitment (Desirable)
  • Understanding of DE&I best practices (Desirable)
  • Experience with employer branding or recruitment marketing (Desirable)
