About the role
- Senior Cloud Architect specializing in AWS cloud architecture and technical governance for significant workloads. Leading design efforts and ensuring security best practices while collaborating with clients.
Responsibilities
- Designing and providing the technical governance over the delivery of significant workloads on the cloud
- Defining the infrastructure, network, and security design, along with the design of platform tooling services
- Setting the technical standards that define what good looks like for all services
- Designing and delivering workloads using a wide range of AWS services including; AWS Organizations, CloudTrail, SecurityHub, GuardDuty, IAM and IAM Identity Center
- Leading client CCoE transformation, establishing RACI models and operational governance
- Ensuring adherence to Well Architected principles across the client’s enterprise solutions
Requirements
- AWS Cloud Architects with extensive landing zone knowledge
- Experience of designing and operating enterprise-scale landing zones within AWS
- Understanding of the key security risks that are present when operating workloads within AWS
- Ability/willingness to pass DV clearance is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to architect appropriate and scalable Cloud solutions with the ability to assess trade-offs with design options.
