About the role
- Senior Indirect Sourcing Analyst responsible for procurement processes at Exeter Finance. Collaborating with business units and managing supplier relationships for efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for identifying and procuring goods and services required by the organization
- Collaborate with business units to define requirements, source third-party solutions, negotiate pricing, and manage the purchase and delivery of goods and services
- Support Exeter’s Procurement processes and provide routine administrative assistance
- Administer and manage contracts, including proactive management of contract renewals, change-orders, and resolution of issues or disputes
- Maintain and build strong relationships with vendors, internal vendor managers, and business partners
- Develop, issue, and manage complex Requests for Proposals (RFPs) as well as bids and quotes
- Conduct market research and cost analysis to find the best suppliers and maximize value
- Lead negotiations with suppliers on terms, pricing, and contracts for major projects
- Conduct data analysis to inform strategic decision-making, including developing and presenting comprehensive reports and dashboards on procurement performance
- Analyze and process purchase requisitions in collaboration with Finance and business partners
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures
- Maintain procurement communications and internal activities
- Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to lower-level procurement staff
Requirements
- College degree in Business Management, Finance or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience
- 4-6 years of procurement experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and support new systems and applications, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Excel and Word preferred
- Friendly attitude and excellent people skills
- Working knowledge of COUPA
