Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to capture, clarify, and articulate data requirements.
- Translate project goals into well-structured, scalable data schemas.
- Identify gaps in existing datasets and design systematic approaches to generate or source required data.
- Apply statistical techniques such as regression analysis, distribution analysis, and hypothesis testing to performance data.
- Distinguish between natural variance and statistically significant changes in throughput or quality.
- Use historical data to forecast future performance and proactively identify potential SLA risks.
- Take ownership of data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define and implement data governance requirements to ensure high-quality and reliable performance data.
- Design and execute compliance testing frameworks aligned with internal governance, security, and privacy standards.
- Build and maintain advanced operational dashboards to track performance, throughput, and accuracy.
- Provide real-time visibility into project health, enabling Project Leads to make timely, data-driven decisions.
- Conduct root cause analysis using methods such as outlier detection and correlation analysis when KPIs are not met.
- Design and run controlled experiments to test workflow changes and statistically validate process improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, ideally within an operational or production environment.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python or R for statistical analysis.
- Expertise in BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Solid understanding of probability distributions.
- Strong grasp of correlation vs. causation.
- Experience with predictive modeling and performance forecasting.
- Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
