About the role

• Fullstack Engineer at privacy startup dedicated to rebuilding consumer trust in data usage. Leading systems architecture, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the roadmap and architecture of the systems you own, identifying improvements to enable new functionality and features
• Take responsibility for the stability and uptime of the systems you own
• Lay foundations to scale the system as the company grows
• Optimize system performance and reliability through monitoring, debugging, and proactive improvements to handle increasing user demand
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—frontend, design, etc.—to drive innovation
• Build infrastructure to support a modern cloud application with broad integration capacities

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining high-quality software
• Proficiency in Python
• History of building scalable platforms
• Proven track record of leading high-quality designs, code, tools, and large-scale systems
• Skilled in building and deploying robust, secure web APIs
• Past experience with, or ability to quickly learn, Django and Django REST Framework
