About the role

  • Service Sales Account Manager responsible for driving growth in fire protection industry. Retaining customers and developing new client relationships in Windsor and surrounding territories.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a defined territory by retaining existing customers while identifying and securing new opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to support long term growth
  • Proactively prospect new customers through outreach, referrals, and relationship development
  • Meet directly with customers to understand their needs and guide them through the sales process
  • Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Prepare and present proposals and pricing aligned with customer needs and business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure opportunities sold are executable and profitable
  • Maintain and grow service agreements across company products and services
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts to expand scope of work and deepen relationships
  • Monitor competitive activity, market conditions, and customer trends within the territory
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools
  • Travel within the Windsor and surrounding area territory for customer meetings as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or territory growth roles
  • Demonstrated ability to prospect, open doors, and create new opportunities
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills with both customers and internal teams
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex buying environments
  • Self starter with strong ownership mentality and accountability for results
  • Comfort working independently while collaborating cross functionally
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
  • Fire protection or life safety industry experience is considered an asset but is not required.
