About the role

  • Client Relationship Director managing client relationships and driving business development initiatives for CLA's CAAS practice across Southern California.

Responsibilities

  • Expand existing client relationships as well as build your network to develop new relationships in the community.
  • Work closely with the Managing Principal and Outsourcing Client Service Team to drive business and service offerings.
  • Recognize opportunities, problem solve and close business, especially at strategically targeted accounts.
  • Implement a sales strategy for new account prospects, prepare client presentations, and attend local and regional networking events representing CLA.
  • Effectively project manage ongoing engagements to meet client needs.
  • Maintain business development targets and sales activities in CRM.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience
  • Big Four Audit Manager or other public accounting experience
  • Industry experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required
  • A client services delivery orientation
  • Relationship building experience
  • Drive to participate in business development initiatives
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives and team members
