About the role

  • Director of Facilities and Maintenance developing and implementing strategies for corporate infrastructure at Flowers Foods. Ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence across facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee facilities and maintenance strategies across corporate offices
  • Ensure facilities, building systems, and infrastructure are safe, compliant, reliable, and cost-effective
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise for preventive maintenance programs, capital planning, vendor management, and facilities compliance
  • Partner closely with corporate functions to support business continuity and long-term infrastructure sustainability across the enterprise

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in facilities and maintenance management
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection)
  • Proven experience managing projects and vendor relationships
  • Working knowledge of OHSA, building codes, and regulatory compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Supply Chain, Business or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
