Responsibilities

  • Support operating facilities and projects through technical engineering knowledge and project management skills
  • Optimize facilities to deliver maximum value safely and reliably
  • Provide technical engineering support for turnarounds and projects
  • Develop and/or deploy industry leading technologies to reduce carbon, increase efficiency and maximize returns
  • Use digitalization and data analytics to improve process operations and safety
  • Complete Chevron's Horizons Program for early-career development

Requirements

  • Students completing the last year of the requirements for their bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering
  • Individuals with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemical engineering with two years or less directly related work experience
  • Strong academic performance in core programs
  • Communication, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Position may require driving on a routine basis
