About the role

• Engineering Laboratory Coordinator responsible for the safe operation of the JP9101 Engineering Development Laboratory. Involves collaboration with engineering teams and technical investigations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the effective operation, safety and configuration control of the JP9101 Engineering Development Laboratory.
• Supporting a range of engineering, integration and verification activities.
• Ensure laboratory environments, server rooms, HF communications equipment and associated IT systems are maintained in a controlled, documented and operational state.
• Coordinate day-to-day laboratory activities including system setup, test execution and configuration releases.
• Contribute to technical investigations and maintain accurate engineering documentation.
• Ensure systems, procedures and standards are consistently applied to support safe, predictable and high-quality outcomes for the JP9101 program.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in relatable technical/engineering roles.
• An understanding of applicable engineering toolsets (e.g. PLM or MRP systems, design, simulation and analysis software).
• Prior experience in Defence, secure facilities, or complex system-of-systems environments.
• Familiarity with Windows Server 2022 administration and operational maintenance activities.
• Experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), including command-line operation, system configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Linux administration, virtualisation, and network configuration.
• Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Defence Security Clearance.
