About the role

  • Vice President, Head of Technology leading engineering and product teams at Chief. Responsible for technical strategy and overseeing a growing technology platform in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering and product organizations at Chief
  • Own technical and product vision
  • Partner closely with leadership for scalable, intelligent, member-centric experiences
  • Evaluate existing systems to identify fixes and improvements
  • Architect and maintain a microservices-based platform
  • Establish best practices for engineering quality and incident response
  • Manage internal IT infrastructure and operations

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years in senior leadership roles
  • Strong technical and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience with microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
  • Deep fluency in Salesforce, Braze, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
  • Experience with AI/ML features within production consumer products
  • Ability to find creative ways to modernize legacy systems
  • Proven track record in coaching and inspiring teams
