About the role

  • Deliver expert 3rd line support for internal systems and services.
  • Administer and optimise the Microsoft 365 stack (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, OneDrive).
  • Act as a key escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring swift resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues before they impact users.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, and Development teams to ensure system reliability, security, and compliance, by maintaining and referencing clear technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Respond to alerts and incidents from our outsourced SOC provider and Darktrace dashboard.
  • Mentor and train 1st and 2nd line support staff to elevate service quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in 3rd line support with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure AD, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and Identity Management.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Log Analytics, and Azure Backup/VMs.
  • Solid understanding of networking in cloud environments (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Experience with secure data exchange (e.g., SFTP).
  • Familiarity with ISO27001, GDPR, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with Cisco Meraki and Sophos firewalls (desirable).
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server (queries, backup/restore) (desirable).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, Power Automate, and Graph API (desirable).
  • Exposure to Twilio and Twilio Flex is a plus (desirable).
