About the role
- IT Operations Manager responsible for overseeing IT operations at Cerapedics. Contributing to mission of transforming bone repair through leadership and technical management.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage day-to-day IT operations, ensuring uptime, performance, and predictable service delivery across IT and OT environments.
- Act as the primary operational decision-maker, escalating to the Sr. IT Director when strategic tradeoffs or risk decisions are required.
- Establish and refine operational processes including incident management, change management, patching, and system lifecycle management.
- Serve as the senior IT presence when the Sr. IT Director is unavailable (vacation, off-hours, business travel).
- Directly manage and mentor Endpoint / Helpdesk Engineers, Systems & Network Engineers.
- Serve as the backup and technical lead for systems and network engineering in a single engineer model.
- Design and maintain resilient architectures across cloud, campus, and manufacturing systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Business Administration with an IT discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Advanced degree or MBA with an IT Management concentration preferred but not required.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT specializing in supporting organizational IT programs and infrastructure.
- 8 years of management experience leading a team of IT professionals.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), ISA / IEC 62443 or SCADA Security Certification, SAP System Administration experience.
