About the role

  • Distribution Manager driving growth and managing distributor relationships for EMEA Materials Protection at Arxada. Collaborating across teams to ensure market needs and opportunities are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the distribution strategy for the EU Materials Protection portfolio.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new distribution partners to expand market presence.
  • Manage day‑to‑day distributor relationships, ensuring alignment on goals, pricing, and commercial priorities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, track KPIs, and support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure distributors have the tools, training, and product knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Drive revenue growth by supporting forecasting, opportunity tracking, pricing decisions, negotiations, and margin optimization.
  • Partner with field sales teams to support strategic accounts managed through distributors.
  • Analyze market and customer trends to identify new opportunities across coatings, plastics, construction materials, home & personal care, and industrial protection.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams to launch new products through distribution channels and represent Arxada at trade shows, customer events, and distributor trainings.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Commercial Excellence, Technical Service, Supply Chain, Marketing, Regulatory, and Finance to ensure distributor and end‑customer needs are met.
  • Provide Voice of Customer and competitive insights to guide product development and market strategy.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of commercial experience in B2B materials, specialty chemicals, additives, coatings, or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or equivalent field.
  • Demonstrated success managing distributors or channel partners in the EU region.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization and balance multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel 20–40% across Europe.
