Responsibilities
Maintain the QMS.
Organize all laboratory audits and respond to any deficiencies.
Coordinate analyses and compile data packages for all performance evaluation (PE) samples received by the laboratory.
Provide corrective action statements to agencies or clients in regard to PE samples.
Manage the internal audit program.
Gain and maintain ISO 9001/AS9100 lead auditor certification.
Monitor laboratory activities to verify conformance with established laboratory SOPs.
Maintain records of Performance evaluation samples (PETs), audits, state certification programs.
Help establish control charts (pareto) and evaluate data quality for laboratory processes.
Review all Standard Operating Procedures and or technical documentation and track them through the signature loop.
Monitor end of life cycle for procedures and technical documentation stored in the client’s repository.
Assist with the development of quality control manuals and procedures, and participate in the development of new methods, procedures, and systems.
Investigate problems and develop disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
Recommend corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
Support and initiates quality program to support laboratory work efforts, aligning company quality standards with the client, and other government guidelines.
Reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
Provides final acceptance and inspection activities on services provided by the laboratories.
Provide KPIs for the QMS.
Analyze and monitor KPIs to ensure QMS is meeting the intended goals.
Ensure Routine Use of Quality Control (QC) Check Samples.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience/combined education.
5 years direct professional experience.
Must be able to pass a background check.
May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
