About the role
- Controller managing financial performance for Casualfood, overseeing reporting and advising on budget processes. Collaborating with management and leading financial tools development.
Responsibilities
- Financial Control & Reporting – As a Controller (m/f/d), you will prepare and analyze financial statements under HGB and SWISS GAAP FER and establish meaningful management reporting for our more than 60 outlets.
- Business Partnering – You will support the business units with budget planning, investment decisions and profitability analyses.
- Planning & Forecasting – You will manage budget processes, forecasts and scenario analyses and derive concrete recommendations.
- Cost & Performance Analysis – You will monitor cost structures, identify variances and uncover opportunities for optimization.
- Internal Control & Processes – You will continuously develop our internal control system and controlling processes.
- Digital Finance & Tools – You will use modern finance tools and BI solutions to enable data-driven decisions.
- Stakeholder Management – You will be the contact person for auditors, tax advisors and our parent company in Zurich.
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, finance or economics – ideally with a focus on controlling, accounting or auditing.
- With several years of experience as a Controller (m/f/d) or in finance, you are familiar with processes in medium-sized or international companies; experience in quick-service restaurants, hospitality or retail is a welcome plus.
- You have a strong command of HGB, and familiarity with SWISS GAAP FER is an advantage.
- You are highly proficient in Excel, and you work confidently with MS Office as well as DATEV or comparable ERP systems.
- You think analytically, have a good feel for numbers and keep an overview even in complex situations.
- You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and enjoy taking responsibility and driving initiatives forward.
- With your open manner, you communicate clearly and confidently – in German as well as in English.
