Responsibilities
- Provide daily/weekly management and support to category/commodity team members
- Align with regional and sector functional stakeholders to incorporate product and manufacturing strategies into category/commodity strategy
- Lead category/commodity team members to develop and execute comprehensive Opportunity Assessment for commodity
- Develop Sourcing Strategy for commodity detailing projects, sourcing levers, timing, resources, and expected benefits
- Accountable for execution of sourcing projects including RFx, continuous improvement, consolidation
- Responsible for defining negotiations strategy including supplier profiles, commercial negotiations targets
- Accountable for all commercial negotiations and supplier selections within commodities
- Partner with Regional and Sector Procurement teams to ensure delivery of productivity
- Accountable for team reporting and managing of category/commodity inflation, both mitigation and recovery
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree
- 7+ years experience Supply Chain or Procurement
- 5+ years experience in Category/commodity Management
- Ability to travel up to 25%
