About the role
- Warehouse Operations Supervisor responsible for daily operations and leading associates in an eCommerce fulfillment center. Ensuring accurate and timely customer order processing while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates to achieve productivity, quality, and service level standards.
- Plan and assign labor to support daily eCommerce order fulfillment volumes.
- Oversee daily fulfillment center operations including: Inventory receiving and put-away, Order picking, Packing and labeling, Parcel and LTL shipping.
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and shipping cutoffs.
- Track operational metrics such as: Units picked per hour, Order accuracy, Pack rates, On-time shipment performance.
- Enforce all safety procedures and maintain a safety-first work environment.
- Maintain operational documentation including productivity reports, attendance tracking, and performance metrics.
- Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and product quality checks.
- Assist leadership in driving a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, fulfillment, logistics, or eCommerce operations.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce fulfillment workflows including receiving, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficiency with computers and warehouse systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead teams in a high-volume, fast-paced fulfillment environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
