About the role

  • Systems Administrator responsible for R&D computer systems and informatics systems at Fresenius Kabi. Overseeing compliance, vendor coordination, and system support within the laboratories.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all R&D computer systems in the Laboratory
  • Administration of all informatics systems including Empower CDS, RAM, isolated networks for standalone computerized systems
  • Troubleshoots and supports Empower CDS, Regulatory Asset Manager (RAM), isolated networks, and other systems
  • Supports account management, data management, and maintains robust database systems
  • Assists Technical Team Lead with global Enterprise IT initiatives
  • Issues licensing of all software packages within R&D laboratories
  • Maintains software related Service Contracts
  • Coordinates with vendors for system maintenance and updates
  • Maintains inventory of all computer hardware, software and licenses
  • Responsible for disaster recovery of all R&D software systems
  • Provides qualification and change control support associated with computerized system installation
  • Maintains expertise through ongoing training and participating in industry associations
  • Develops relationships with critical stakeholders to implement solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology/computer science, engineering, or science related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT related field
  • High level of technical expertise in Installation of networking devices, operating systems, business applications, computer hardware, and peripheral devices
  • Working knowledge of GMP regulations and quality management systems
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulatory standards, such as ISO 17025 and FDA requirements
  • Preferred experience with Java and SQL
  • Skills with system security preferred
  • Project management skills are preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present to stakeholders
