Responsibilities
Support the Supplier Readiness Mechanical Valuestream (Mech VS)
Work closely with the Component Design group covering Design, Materials & Stress Engineering
Directly support the Mech VS Leaders & Program Managers in developing strategies and supporting execution of Supplier Transition objectives
Prepare and track budgets which align with projects in execution
Drive on-time execution of Supplier Readiness objectives by working with Value Stream Leaders and Program Managers to achieve dual sourcing objectives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Project Engineering or equivalent
Experience working closely with Integrated Supply Chain and Honeywell suppliers on development parts, transition execution and production producibility issues
Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity
Travel is required for this role approximately 20% based on project support required
Experience in the design, development, test, qualification, and certification of Aircraft Systems components
Budget and schedule management skills; established operating system for milestones, financial performance, fill rate, project status
Comfortable using MS project for project plans and execution
