About the role

• Datacenter Engineer ensuring stable operations of Windows Application Cloud and internal servers. Involves virtualization, disaster recovery, and high availability management.

Responsibilities

• You ensure the stable operation of the Windows Application Cloud as well as the internal server landscape.
• You make sure that virtualization, high availability and patch standards run smoothly both organizationally and technically.
• You operate and further develop the Windows Application Cloud.
• You manage virtualization environments (on-premises & datacenter).
• You migrate internal servers into virtualized environments.
• You ensure high availability as well as patch and security standards.
• You also contribute to disaster recovery and emergency response planning.
• You support the central standardization of server operations.

Requirements

• You have experience operating server and virtualization environments.
• You have strong Windows Server knowledge.
• You possess a solid understanding of high-availability and security concepts.
• In addition, you work in a structured and responsible manner.
• You are motivated to actively help shape a growing cloud infrastructure.
• You assist in shifting operations from a single point of responsibility to a multi-person team approach.
• You contribute to handling the rapidly growing demand driven by the Windows Application Cloud.
• You help minimize significant financial risks in the event of outages.
