About the role

  • Sales Intern supporting ASEAN sales leadership in pursuing growth opportunities for smart building technologies. Assisting in market research, CRM data management, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential new verticals (e.g., Data Centers, Healthcare) to enhance regional sales strategies.
  • Assist in managing opportunity data within CRM tools (Salesforce) and support sales reporting and performance tracking for the leadership team.
  • Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for BMS solutions, ensuring accurate pricing and configuration in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Shadow senior sales representatives during customer meetings to observe real-world negotiation and value-selling processes.
  • Help create content for external communication channels and presentation decks that standardize technical solutions for client pitches.
  • Involve & Leverage on industry-related (BCA/GBC) events to generate qualified leads
  • Support sales team to qualify leads rigorously using ICP & buyer personas
  • Assign qualified opportunities to Account Managers for conversion

Requirements

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering (with a strong interest in the commercial side of technology).
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for professional presentations.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral English skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical solutions into clear business benefits.
  • Previous internship experience in B2B sales or building technology sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
