About the role

  • Senior Business Analyst providing business and technical leadership and solutions for Misericordia Health Centre. Responsible for managing business development and providing education and training to operational staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provides business and technical leadership to Misericordia Health Centre (MHC)
  • Uses analytical ability, creativity and judgement in analyzing, developing and implementing solutions to address complex requirements.
  • Responsible for managing business development and strategic business design of new initiatives.
  • Completes business requirements, functional requirements, stakeholder analysis and business process analysis with limited guidance.
  • Provides education and training to operational staff to support the continuation of improved business processes and ongoing monitoring of process improvements.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) years progressively responsible experience in a high paced business environment
  • Experience working with large or complex data sets, preferably health administrative, clinical or financial data systems
  • 3 years of progressive experience working in an analytical role with a focus on process review, quantitative analysis and performance measurement using analytical and reporting tools
  • Knowledge and experience working with project management techniques
  • Significant experience working with Microsoft Office and products
  • B.A. or B. Comm. with a major in Business Administration, Information Systems Data Analysis or Computer Science; Masters Degree would be an asset.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an asset.
  • Lean Six Sigma training would be an asset.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications would be an asset.
