About the role

  • Analyst generating and analysing land data related to residential and non-residential uses. Conducts analyses using spatial information systems and provides expert advice to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Generating and analysing data related to residential and non-residential land uses
  • Conducting comprehensive analyses utilising spatial information systems and non-spatial analysis tools
  • Producing data sets, reports, and mapping in support of the Urban Development Program’s deliverables
  • Providing expert advice and analysis on land supply and development to a diverse range of stakeholders

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in urban planning, spatial sciences or related field (mandatory)
  • Experience with GIS software and programming languages such as R or Python (desirable)
  • Experience relevant to the accountabilities and capabilities of the role (desirable)
