About the role

  • Financial Analyst supporting the production of key financial publications for DTF. Involving financial data consolidation and analysis for informed government decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support the production of DTF’s key financial publications
  • Consolidate financial data and its reporting
  • Undertake detailed financial analysis on Whole of Government / General Government Sector results
  • Provide advice based on financial analysis

Requirements

  • Holds an accounting or finance-related academic qualification
  • CPA / CA membership or working towards will be highly considered
  • Demonstrated ability to use financial management systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Experience in budgeting and financial accounting and reporting
  • Ability to convey ideas and information demonstrating an understanding of the target audience
  • Ability to question processes related to own work
  • Ability to articulate proposed improvements/solutions with the manager
  • Demonstrated capacity to take ownership of own tasks
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders
