Senior Claims Manager managing workers compensation claims in New Zealand. Seeking experienced claims professionals to coordinate worker recovery and collaborate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs
Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy
Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery
Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments
Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is mandatory
You must currently be residing in New Zealand to be eligible for relocation bonus
