Sales Outreach Specialist responsible for promoting Cedars-Sinai specialty services to referring entities. Focusing on increasing referrals in Eastern and Southern Los Angeles County.
Responsibilities
Sells and promotes Cedars-Sinai Services, Programs and Physicians by organizing offsite presentations, making cold calls, warm calls and scheduling face-to-face office visits with the objective of raising awareness about Cedars-Sinai services and programs to increase referrals.
Serves as the account lead for referring entities, tailors sales strategies and approaches based on client needs, and acts as a liaison between the account/referring entities and Service Lines/specialty areas.
Keeps abreast of new programs and services offered by each Service Line. Communicates all needs from referral sources to appropriate CSMC/CSMF entities in a timely manner.
Effectively handles referral related issues and problem solves based on needs, including resolving claims and service issues.
Collaborates with the Managed Care team, referring entities and health plans to initiate or recommend new components for existing contracts in addition to LOA’s and MOU’s.
Participates in team discussions to identify where there are opportunities to leverage relationships and streamline approaches.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, marketing, or related field required.
Minimum of 3 years of healthcare industry sales experience. Must understand healthcare reimbursement and contracting.
The clinical focus areas for this role are Neurosciences, GI, and Cancer, so experience in those areas is a plus.
Ability to call regularly on clients in eastern and southern Los Angeles County regularly and to occasional regional visits.
