Responsibilities
You will be responsible for posting, managing, scheduling, creating thumbnails, and performing all editing and video production work required to manage Lumni's YouTube channel, with priority on content for ages 3–10
You will also be responsible for creating, writing, and publishing posts on social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), particularly on educational current affairs and pop culture topics
You will manage conversational interactions (DMs, comments, mentions) with subscribers on YouTube and across all of Lumni's social accounts, and help devise approaches to build on these conversations
You will participate in team meetings and brainstorms and in any other activities related to our mission
Requirements
Master's level (equivalent to 4–5 years post-secondary) — degree from a leading university or communication school, or a recognized Master's in communication
Curious with a genuine interest in current affairs and education topics
Enjoys working in a team
Detail-oriented with strong writing skills
Proficient in video editing and in creating thumbnail visuals (Adobe)
Deep understanding of YouTube and social media features and best practices
Experience managing a YouTube channel is a plus
